Hey everyone, we're just
getting started on our
annual June Heat trip
sponsored by Accurate
Reels. We won't be able to
email in reports this trip
but will be calling them in
to the office as often as
possible. If you've ever
used an accurate reel you'll
know how excited everyone
was when they brought a
bunch down to be used on
this trip, we are certainly
geared up.
We stopped at Alijos Rocks
on the way to the fishing
grounds and had a nice warm
up catch of 30-50lb tuna
along with some yellowtail
mixed in. Mike Faulkner won
a pair of fishing gloves
for his 45lb yellowfin
(courtesy of accurate
reels). This set us up
nicely for mackerel in the
evening, once we tanked up
on mackerel we headed to the
southern waters looking for
those big tuna and elusive
wahoo..
So far we've had very nice
weather which made our
travels very comfortable.
We'll report back as soon as
we can.
