Nov.3rd, 2005
Good morning folks. We left
on a 10 day trip yesterday.
A nice load of bait and good
weather to start with .
Today we are going to spend
the day rigging up . A
seminar and then back to the
line winding machine.
Charkbait is the sponsor for
the trip and it looks like
there is a nice giveaway for
the morning as well.
We are heading south with
big fish on the menu.
Hopefully the weather
sustains and the big ones
keep biting. We will report
again tomorrow.

Good evening folks. A nice
day of fishing on the upper
end of the ridge. School
size tuna biting well enough
for everyone to have a good
day. Decent size fish as we
have seen on the ridge and a
welcome for loosening up for
the bigger fish down below. Good
weather and good fishing so
far, hopefully tomorrow we
experience the same. We will
report again.

Good evening folks. What a
day. 200 pound fish on a
10 day trip? Well not only
but quite a few chances on
cows over 200 pounds. The
fleet enjoyed great
fishing on quality size
tuna yesterday. Our
best action was in the
afternoon with for a short
period of time was wide
open on these monsters.
For the entire group that
had never seen fish this
let alone catch it was
amazing. 8 fish just at
and over 200 pounds. Not
bad for first timers. We
will be in the area again
tomorrow after we try for
bait tonight. Andy

Good evening folks.
Another day of quality
size yellowfin tuna. A
long drift almost all day
produced 18 tuna . 7 of
which were hitting or over
the 200 pound mark. the
other fish were very nice
grade from 150 to 190 . A
slower day but definitely
more casual at the rail. We
never did see the sign of
fish later like we did yesterday but maybe
tomorrow. We will report
again then. Andy

Good evening folks. Big
day today for the San
Diego fleet. Great fishing
on big yellowfin tuna.
Action all day on fish
that were mostly 175
pounds and better. The
sign here today was pretty
spectacular with the Black
porpoise moving back in.
We ended our day a little
early to head up for more
bait but finished off
strong with 38 tuna. 10 of
those estimated over 200
pounds. What a unreal
fishery right now for 10
day trips. Those of you
coming out this year make
sure you bring plenty of
135 pound Izorline.
Hopefully you will need
it. We will report again
tomorrow. Andy

Good afternoon folks. Yesterday was yet another good day of tuna fishing.
We finished off in the evening with mostly all big fish. The general all
around report from all the boats in the area was excellent. Some of the best
big tuna fishing any of us has ever had. the people on the trips this week
have seen and experienced historic sportfishing to say the least. Our last two fish in the evening were
really nice ones . One estimated at 287 and another at 290 . It was really a
treat to finish off looking at those monsters..
Today has been more or less a day of winding down. We fished up the ridge for just a few wahoo and we are going to finish our trip off tomorrow on the ridge hoping for a few more wahoo. We will report again tomorrow. Andy Cates

Good evening folks. Our first day of fishing the big tuna brought surprise, as it did last trip to the anglers. A great show once again on good size fish, breaking all around the boat brought a lot of excitement. We didn't experience the cow tuna as we did the last trip but still its early and the day was a success with 24 fish from 130 to 215 pounds. We are heading up for more bait and be back in the grounds tomorrow. We will report again tomorrow

Good morning folks. Yesterday we left on a 15 day fly-back option long
range trip. The second of our trips scheduled for the Hurricane Bank.
With all the epic fishing on the beach this year, it made a hard choice
for us to start at the bank. we are headed that way and the weather is
choppy and cold. Probably the same weather as at home. After the fishing
we had in October at the bank we are happy to have a chance to do it
again. Hopefully weather and conditions make it possible for many chances
at big tuna and wahoo.
