Day limit of a species of fish (tuna, yellowtail or wahoo) is 5 per angler with a few exceptions like Dorado which are 2 per day. Catching 2 Dorado will count the same as catching a full day limit of yellowtail. So 2 Dorado = 5 yellowtail Day limit of total fish is 10 fish per angler. Trip limit of a species of fish (tuna, yellowtail or wahoo) is 15 per angler on trips longer than 3 days with a few exceptions like Dorado which are 6 per trip. Catching 6 Dorado will count the same as catching a trip limit of yellowtail. So 6 Dorado = 15 yellowtail Trip limit on total fish is 30 fish per angler on a trip 3 days or longer. Please remember our average size fish in the spring, summer and fall season is 20 - 30 lbs. And our winter trips we are after giant yellowfin (100 lb. average) and wahoo (40 lb. average).
